chic parties by design
I came up with the idea of "chic parties" when I planned my own wedding and began planning birthday parties, baby showers and other weddings for my friends. It always pays to have someone with some experience to help you plan the perfect party.I chose the name "chic parties by design" because my parties are chic, and it's the design that makes them chic. When you think of chic, you think of style and elegance. When I plan an event, I will not go for less than stylish or elegant. The advantage of having a party planner is not having to do the work yourself! After I planned my own wedding, I learned SOOO much about what goes into planning. I learned that you have to pay for tables, chairs, cakes are $100, and decorations can be handmade! That's where the "design" comes in. My parties become very personal, simply by adding handmade elements. Please take a look at a few of my photos and comment on things you like or don't like. And tell your friends and family about me!!!! :)

my wedding

My Wedding Day was nothing short of CRAZY! While getting my hair and makeup done, I was busy decorating all 15 tables with my handmade centerpieces. The candles were simple but added that little bit of jazz that was needed. I'm pretty proud of how the wedding turned out on such a tight budget! :)

haidyn turns 1!

Haidyn's first birthday party was by far the hardest party to plan! I wanted everything to be just PERFECT, but didn't know where to start. I decided to go with a "Pink & White Polka Dot Theme" I found the perfect cake with matcing smash cake! For the adult party favors, I had a candy buffet set up with little favor boxes for them to load up with their favorite pink and white candy! For the kids, I made placemats with their names on them (which could be used over and over again!)

haidyn's 2nd birthday

So we decided to have Haidyn's second birthay at Monkey Joe's (heaven for kids) and the rooms were already decorated. Haidyn was rrrreeeeaaaallllyyyy into Elmo & Abby Cadabby at the time, so I figured we could have that as our "theme". The cake was AMAZING, but even more amazing was my baby's perfect little outfit!!!! I found a rainbow colored tu-tu (which I recently learned to make) with an elmo shirt to match! It was perfect! I decorated the tables with balloons that matched the colors of Haidyn's tutu and tied them down to plush Elmo and Abby Cadabby dolls. PERFECT! :)
